Additional Activities
Children who wish to join in can take part in football lessons run by T10 every Friday morning. On Thursday mornings, children who wish to participate in Songs and Rhyme Time can enjoy sessions run by Jinglebugs. The Daisy Chain Nursery provides these activities without charge during school term time.
Our nursery plays an active role in the community. We are visited regularly by the Fire Brigade, an exciting activity where children can explore a real fire engine. We also enjoy visits from the Police. Parents are regularly invited to join us and friends of our nursery with interesting professions are often invited to discuss their work with the children.
Past visits from friends of the nursery have included dentists, vets, pilots and even Father Christmas! Parents and grandparents are regularly invited along to read to our children.
